HOME from 2009's SHELTER anthology published by Trees & Hills, written by Dan Barlow and drawn by Tim Hulsizer. This is actually an alternate version of the story that appears in the printed comic. The paper published version was drawn by Colin Tedford. Tim's haunting rendition appears on-line for the first time. Check out all five pages right here.

FOOD CHAIN written by Dan Barlow & Keith Moriarty and drawn by Matthew Reidsma. Two vegetarians and an omnivore bring you a three-page story about where dinner comes from. One of my favorite stories. Read it all here.

Ah, THE $ELL OUTS #1. My first comic, written back in 2004 or 2005 and finally published sometime around 2007. Script by myself and Keith Moriarty and art by Tim Hulsizer, this comic features dead celebrities fighting the corpse of Ronald Reagan. It was called a "weird comic" by Comic Book Resources. Someday we will release issue #2. Read the whole 22 page first issue here.

THE IRIS OF BERLIN was a collaboration between myself and my buddy Cayetano Garza Jr for Offshore Comix's debut book, BIG SEXY. Focusing on an affair that takes place in Germany shortly after the end of the second World War, the story has a bunch of great naughty bits that we're not showing on the Internet.  BIG SEXY will soon be available for sale at www.offshorecomix.com

HOME written by myself and drawn by Colin Tedford. This is the version that appears in the Trees & Hills SHELTER comic anthology. My buddy Colin, the other co-founder of Trees & Hills, jumped in and drew this comic overnight when the original artist couldn't make deadline.

LOVE, ROD written by myself and drawn by Megan Baehr, was published in the Random House comic anthology, I SAW YOU: Missed Connection Comics. Gorgeous work by Megan on this story. But don't listen to me. Here's what Sawcebox.com said: "The comics that engage more with their subject matter come off really strong, specifically ... Daniel Barlow and Megan Baehr’s heartbreaking interpretation of an old, washed-out musician’s longing for Brenda, a bartender from his glory days."
